Rivermont subdvision is in the new city of Johns Creek, GA formerly Alpharetta GA.  Rivermont borders the Chattahoochee River and is just 22 miles north of downtown Atlanta, GA. • Centennial High School in Roswell GA is for grades 9-12. It serves a little over 2000 students.

Crème de la Crème pre-school is across the street from the entrance to the Rivement Colony part of the subdivision. Nesbit Ferry Montessori is just a mile away.

Rivermont Golf and Country Club offers a relaxed, family oriented environment.   The Championship 18-Hole Golf Course originally designed by Joe Lee underwent at $3.6 million dollar renovation by golf course designer in 2006. The improvements enhance what was already an excellent reputation throughout GA.

Rivermont's spacious clubhouse offers a warm and inviting atmosphere. The clubhouse activities feature a Sunday brunch, Family Nights every Thursday evening, Ala Carte Dining Thursday through Sunday as well as daily lunch and dinner menus.
