Hey good for you doing such as service out there. These are things that should be properly disposed or recycled for the internal risks they have
These are great events that help households get rid of the items they no longer use or need, for whatever reason.
Jen, posting about our local recycling events is a great way to use localism...I did this for my area a while back, too. :)
Leilani
P.S. Thanks for including the tip about erasing personal information from computers before recycling them...you just never know!
Jen it has been a while since we have had one of these around here, but we are in need of one. I have a couple of old TV sets and a few other things I need to get rid of.
Thanks Jen! I was just thinking about where I could recycle or re-purpose my old, old Compaq Laptop!
Thank you Stan, I agree.
Carol, We all have extra stuff. We went through our house and found 6 extra remote controls. Don't ask me why, that's not my department. :)
Souza Realty, Erasing personal info is really important. We want to make sure personal data isn't recycled into the wrong hands.
George, Maybe you could suggest it to your local sanitation department?
You're welcome Patty! It was a beautiful day to get out and about yesterday.
Wonderful post! Great job making the community aware of their recycling options.
Thanks Carla for stopping by. Events like this make recycling easy.
