Fireworks in Cobb County, GA - The 4th of July is fast approaching and I hear people asking about plans for the 4th of July.
Where will you be watching the fireworks on July 4th, 2011? 
In Cobb County, GA you have several options.
In Acworth at Cauble Park, there will be a concert starting at 4 p.m. The fireworks will start about 9:30 p.m. The address is 2293 Beach Street, Acworth, GA. Additional info
In Marietta, check them out at 4 Depot Street NE. The Marietta Freedom Parade will be at 10 a.m. at Roswell Baptist Church and goes towards the Marietta Square. There's a festival afterwards with food, arts, crafts and carnival. National Bell Ringing will be at 2 p.m. The Parade Awards Ceremony is at 2:15 p.m. The grande finale is the fireworks at dark.
In Powder Springs, fireworks will be at the Historic Town Square in historic downtown Powder Springs. Festivities begin at 4 p.m. and end at 10 p.m.
In Kennesaw, there will be a concert featuring Hotel California and fireworks on Sunday July 3, 2011 at the Depot in Downtown Kennesaw, 2828 Cherokee Street. It opens at 6:00 p.m., the concert is at 8 p.m. and the Fireworks are at 9:30 p.m.
In Austell, there's fireworks at Six Flags. Obviously that's a paid venue, but I'm sure we'll be able to see them from a distance.

Jen, I am kinda thinking that there probably should not be any fireworks here in the Fort Worth area on the Fourth of July. With all the wildfires blazing in nearby states... and the ground here being so dry... I am guessing that it wouldn't take much to start another one of those fires here. Not... a good plan.
